Norwood Terrace is an 8 story building with 115 new apartments. The 58 studio apartments are reserved for individuals with mental illness who are receiving on-site supportive services. 56 apartments are rented to lower-income households earning less than 60% of the area median income.

The building has an expansive community room with kitchenette, computer lab and children’s library, an exercise room, a laundry room, a roof garden and rear yard recreation spaces, with a large rooftop photovoltaic solar array, energy-efficient appliances, a green roof, and other green features. Norwood Terrace complies with NYSERDA and Enterprise Green Communities program standards.

The site achieved the highest rated Track 1 clean-up status enabling unrestricted re-use under the NYS Brownfields Cleanup Program.
